Whaea Kiri asked tamariki from Rm 24 to draw a picture of a marae (meeting house) using chalk on the blackboard inside Te Whare Ako for Maori language week. We learnt that you take your shoes off before you enter and there is no food allowed inside.
Coach Chelsea has been teaching us how to field and bat for the game Tee-ball and play as a team to get the batter out.
I have learnt to run around the bases and try to get “home” before the other team gets me out!
Joraier was chosen to hold a piece of string to represent the large intestine inside our body. Mrs Park taught us all about the organs inside our bodies and how they can help us. We had fun with Harold in the caravan last week.

Joraier received the Duffy certificate this week for coming to school everyday. Keep it up from Mrs Carter!
In Term 2, Rm 24 joined the rest of Team 2 to go on the bus to MOTAT. We were really lucky that we had parent helpers who came to help us for the day. When we got there we saw some old cars, new technology, played on old telephones, and rode on the tram past Western Springs lake. Damon showed us how to program and use coding to move mini robots using an iPad. We had an amazing time exploring and learning new things!

I cut and pasted the bees in the correct place for over and under the upstairs and downstairs of the house.
Hello, my name is Joraier. I am six years old.
